Protection

atol-protected

ATOL protection covers flight-based trips booked with a UK travel company. If your package holiday is ATOL protected, it means you’ll get support and financial help if your travel company collapses.

The name ATOL stands for Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing scheme. The scheme began in 1973. Travel companies that are members of this scheme are called ATOL holders.

Ever wondered how ATOL protection is funded? ATOL holders pay a fee for each traveller. The fees are held in a fund managed by the Air Travel Trust. This fund is used to refund, repatriate or reimburse travellers if their travel company ceases trading.

The Shalom Tours is proud to be an ATOL holder, our membership number is on the logo. You can find out more on the ATOL website.

UK travel businesses join Protected Trust Services (PTS) to ensure complete financial protection for their clients.

All PTS members are experienced, expert travel agents, tour operators, home workers, or flight-only businesses. By setting up a secure, efficient, one-stop system PTS provide some of the best travel consumer protection across the UK.

When you book with a PTS member, you are provided the UK industry’s best financial protection for your holiday, so you can book your getaway with peace of mind.
